Heartland Communications Group LLC is a small market radio group serving North central and Northwestern Wisconsin. Heartland owns eight AM and FM stations serving the markets of Ashland, WI; Superior, WI; Ironwood, MI; Iron River, WI, Eagle River, WI; Minocqua, WI, Rhinelander, WI and Three Lakes, WI plus many other smaller surrounding communities. Heartland delivers quality programming to listeners and results for our advertisers.

Our stations broadcast a variety of formats: Country, Classic Rock, Classic Hits, Hot A/C and “Freedom Talk.” With these formats, Heartland is able to serve a wide-listening audience and our advertisers. At Heartland, we bring entertainment, information and local, regional and national news to our many communities we serve. Heartland has received the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s “Small Market Station of the Year” and “Small Market News Operation of the Year” awards. Heartland Communications is proud of the fact that we have become partners with the communities that we serve.

Heartland works hard to develop our strong decentralized local management teams. These local teams are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their stations in the area and region that they serve.
